Kyle Morales-Hejlik is a California and New York based actor, writer and director. His first original play, a short play adaptation of the Odyssey, PENELOPE, was produced in Syracuse, New York by the Black Latino Asian Artist Coalition's Pop Up Play Fest. Kyle's next play, FUNLAND was produced as a stage reading by Syracuse University's student production company, Black Box Players, for their 3 BY BBP festival. FUNLAND was later presented as a staged reading at the Syracuse University Fisher Center in New York City. Kyle’s appearance on stage consist of as an ensemble member and understudy in Brian Dang’s, 'h*llo k*tty syndrome,' and as Roundhead Spy and an understudy/swing in Meg Miroshnik’s 'the droll,' at the Syracuse Drama Department. Kyle made his directorial debut for the production of the '25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee' in the Loft Theatre produced by Black Box Players in Syracuse, New York. The musical carried out a sold-out run with standing ovations and unexpected surprises that transcended the work since its first conception 20 years ago. Kyle achieved his BFA in Acting graduate with a minor in philosophy from Syracuse University. Now, Kyle resides in New York city and continues to expand upon all of his artistic ventures in the theatre and works with his closest friends every moment he can to share his work with the world as an early career theatre maker.

When Kyle isn’t ranting about the theatre of the absurd or Peter Brook he finds joy and inspiration from photography, exploring aquariums and museums, body boarding and swimming in the Pacific Ocean, badly brewing coffee, Talking Heads, and Anthony Bourdain.
